Trekking
Walks and footpaths in Liguria and the Finale area (from simple strolls to full-fledged sports trekking and hiking routes) wind through the rich nature of the hinterland, but never lose sight of the coast and the sea. This peculiarity actually makes the experience of an excursion in Liguria unique!
Moreover, thanks to the territory rich in archaeological sites and historical monuments, specific disciplines such as archaeotrekking, speleology and exploratory hiking find the perfect environment for their development.
At the hotel, we can provide you with maps, guides and information documentation, available and for sale. In addition, we provide contacts with various associations, shops and local guides who organise excursions.

Bike ed e-Bike
Varigotti and Finale Ligure are ideal locations for road cycling and the various mountain bike specialities, from freeride to downhill and from cross country to enduro, with many routes suitable for e-bikes.
The Finale Ligure area, famous worldwide, is the scene of some of the most important cycling events in the world of mountain biking: the 24-hour Finale Ligure hosts the World Solo 24-hour Mountain Bike Championship on the route that runs through the Altipiano delle Manie upstream of Varigotti, and the final round of the European Super Enduro World Series Championship.
The town of Varigotti is part of the better known Finale Ligure by mountain bike enthusiasts, both Italian and foreign, and is at the centre of the most evocative trails such as the scenic “DH Men” that leads from the Manie plateau to Varigotti. The area also includes other incredible and famous trails: DH women, Briga destra, Briga sinistra, Ponti Romani, Andrassa EWS and Manie uphill.
Hotel Liliana is part of the FOR Finale Outdoor Region Consortium, created between the public and private sectors for the promotion, enhancement, protection and maintenance of the Finale area, from the splendid sea to the immediate hinterland.
Our hotel is the ideal place for an active holiday in the saddle, even for those who want to practise a demanding sport without being a champion: this is why we have decided to offer e-bike hire.
Pedal-assisted mountain bikes will accompany our guests during their holiday, allowing them to explore all the unspoilt nature of the Ligurian hinterland, in a super ecological way and without feeling fatigue. Trail maps and numerous contacts with specialised guides who organise tours are available at reception.
Free Climbing
Liguria does not miss a thing and also offers many possibilities for those who love free climbing.
Finale Ligure is an area full of sites to discover, where you can find yourself suspended in the air, with a splendid view of the sea, for example the cliffs of Capo Noli.
The Finale Ligure area is so rich and varied that it offers several sites for certain sports climbing disciplines, such as via ferrata and multi-pitch climbing. Without going into the high mountains, you can practise your activities while enjoying the mild maritime climate.
Sports associations and local mountain guides are always available to show you the most suitable areas or to accompany you on organised excursions, as well as to provide you with specific guides and maps, which you can also find at the hotel reception. There is also no shortage of specialised shops in Finalborgo for mountain sports clothing and climbing equipment.
Snorkeling

you need to discover the seabed!
The Lega Navale of Finale Ligure organises excursions for young and old on our fossil beaches, where marine biologists and snorkelling instructors will reveal the secrets of the sea!
Reaching the meeting point is easy: starting from Hotel Liliana, via the sea promenade, you can comfortably arrive at the port of Capo San Donato, where the educational activities take place!
If, on the other hand, you want to visit the surroundings, we recommend Nemo’s Garden, a real underwater garden located in Noli. It is a series of biospheres – they look like huge glass balls! – placed at a depth of about 10 metres, in which certain plants such as basil and lettuce are cultivated: underwater, in fact, there are perfect conditions for cultivating, with a particular eye to the environment because no pesticides are used! Some marine species, such as octopuses and crabs, visit the biospheres (without harming the cultivation!), while seahorses have chosen them to raise their young!
To reach Noli from our hotel we recommend using the bus to avoid the stress of looking for a parking space and enjoy this experience to the fullest!
Windsurf
Our Riviera offers optimal conditions for learning to windsurf or sail. You can discover a new way of seeing your holiday… from the open sea.
At Bagni Mariella, directly in front of the hotel, weekly theory and practice courses are organised for beginners, with a maximum of 3 students. If you already know how to sail, you can take individual lessons and rent post-course equipment (RRD and BIC). For children from 4 to 6 years of age, there is ‘Game -windsurfing’, fun in complete safety.
In addition, it is possible to rent canoes and SUPs and participate in mini-trips organised directly by the windsurfing school.
